AIGA/NY Explores Dissent During a Time of Crisis. Speakers include
Milton
Glaser, Steven Heller, David Rees, Joe Garden and Mike Loew of The
Onion,
and Micah Wright. Moderated by John Hockenberry.
At a time when uncertainty and anxiety prevail, this special AIGA
forum will explore: how artists and designers can express their loyal
opposition to war, how design can play a meaningful role in public
debate, how media can be utilized for a grassroots protest, and how
to balance patriotism and dissent.
