A bus and walking tour of Brooklyn's Green Wood Cemetery, one of the 19th century
America's leading tourist attractions. By the 1850's 500,000 people passed through
its gates every year. This tour, lead by Green Wood expert Jeff Richman, includes
scenic ponds, artistic monuments, and fascinating stories. You'll visit the
Catacombs, the Receiving Tomb, Leonard Bernstein's monument and burial spots
for mobsters, robber barons and dozens of pets of the rich and famous. Wear
your walking shoes and bring a hankie.
A brown bag lunch is included. (sandwich, chips, animal crackers)
